I love to travel.

I love immersing myself in different cultures and behaving like one of the locals.

Don't get me wrong, museums, art galleries and sites broaden and inform the cultural experience, but I'm happiest when I find myself in a cafe/bar/restaurant, indulging in the culinary delights of that culture, wandering the streets and usually - shopping up a storm.

So many times I've trawled Google and TripAdvisor for guidance on my travels, whether it be accommodation, restaurants, bars, hikes etc. I love to wander into the experience of another and read/listen to their adventures to help guide my holiday planning. Not that I'm a huge planner, as I like to chat to the locals for more intimate cultural experiences, but I think you have to start somewhere? Hence why I've started this Travel Guide.

I am by no means a photographer, however all the photographs are my own and the writing has been a wonderful creative outlet, allowing me to relive my traveling escapades.

I may not have saved for a deposit on my first home....But I've spent that money traveling and its been totally worth it!
